Welcome! My name is Carey Riggio and I am the Vice Principal overseeing Learning Support Services. This is my 21st year at St. Anthony School.
The goal of Learning Support Services is to ensure that the school meets the needs of all of our students academically. We use a standardized assessment called the Measure of Academic Progress (MAP) to measure students’ growth three times a year. Based on these results, teachers are able to adjust their instruction to meet the needs of the whole class as well as individual students.
St. Anthony School provides additional academic testing in partnership with the local public school districts to offer services for students with learning disabilities or those who need additional support.
We also work with the public schools to provide Title 1 tutoring in math for fourth through eighth graders. Our Title 1 Tutor supports small groups of students in math 2 - 3 times per week to review and reinforce skills being taught in class.
As a school, we employ additional online resources to help support students and extend their learning at home. Please use the links below to access these supplemental programs.
