Teachers (1st Grade / 3rd Grade Openings) - St. Anthony School (Archdiocese of Seattle)
 
Overview: St. Anthony School, a vibrant, 375-student Catholic school in the Archdiocese of Seattle, is seeking to hire teachers for 1st grade and 3rd grade to join our faculty team in the Fall 2024. With two classrooms per grade, teachers work collaboratively, participate in professional learning community (PLC) activities, and have common planning time. We are seeking to hire positive, prepared and dedicated Catholic school educators to join our strong faculty team and help us fulfill our school mission. 
 
History & Mission: For nearly 100 years, St. Anthony School has provided a high-quality Catholic education to families from Renton and the surrounding communities. Since our founding by the Sisters of Charity (Halifax), we have pursued our mission to teach children to be "joyful, loving and Christ-centered individuals, capable of serving others and bettering the world." 
 
That tradition continues in our school today with a dedicated and caring faculty/staff and a strong community of students, parents, parishioners, and alumni. Together, we have a commitment to not only provide a rigorous education for our students, but also to build their character and strengthen their faith. Requirements: These positions require the successful candidates to be practicing Catholics. In addition, all candidates must hold a current State of Washington teacher certification certificate or the ability to obtain one if certified by another state (a student teacher working under a mentor teacher may also be considered). 
 
Salary/Benefits Information: Salary range: $44,714 to $88,825. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications. A comprehensive package of benefits is offered including two medical plan options, dental, vision, life, accidental death and disability, long term disability, pension, 403(b), HSA, FSA, and generous sick leave, vacation, and holidays. For teachers in the first 5 years of their careers, we offer the opportunity to apply for affordable, innovative housing options, based on availability.

Music Teacher - St. Anthony School (Archdiocese of Seattle)

The Music Teacher teaches music in grades Pre-K - 8th Grade and leads the musical direction for our Advent Concert and Spring Performance Show.  We are seeking to hire a positive, prepared and dedicated Catholic school educator to join our strong faculty team and help us fulfill our school mission.

Substitute Teachers

Job Description: 

St. Anthony School is seeking certified substitute teachers on an on-call basis for grades Pre-K through 8th grade. Successful candidates will join our substitute teacher pool to fill short- and long-term sub positions depending on need.

 

Applicant Requirements
 
  • Hold a current Washington State Teaching Certificate or the equivalent from another state or hold a substitute certificate
  • Be mission-centered with a strong desire to be part of a faith-based community
  • Demonstrate the ability to create a safe and engaging classroom learning environment
  • Model excellent classroom management skills
