Our "Layers of the Earth" review is next Monday 10/20 and our test will be on Wednesday 10/22.
6A/6B ELA
1. Daily Reading of 30 minutes per day. Title of book should be logged in Spelling/Vocabulary section of their planners. ***Planner check is on Thursday, October 30th, 2025.
2. 30 minutes of IXL Language Arts for the week.
3. Journal: Write about a scientist or Science experience you enjoyed. Due: 10/20/05.
4. Students will be acting out a short Narrative tomorrow. They will have one class period to finish preparing, and will present in the second class time.
Speech
Students should be thinking of what newsworthy topic they care about. This could be anything from pollution in Washington to a federal policy they don't agree with. We will slowly start working on this speech when we return from the 4 day weekend.
Patrol
Please post this in a visible place for your child. We depend on every child to do his or her fair share in order to keep the before and after school traffic safe for the students. Your child is to be at school by 8:05 AM and at his or her position by 8:10 AM. In the afternoon, each child is to be at their position five minutes before school is out and remain on duty until fifteen minutes after school is dismissed.
