My name is Alicia Masiello. I look forward to getting to know every one of you this year. I am new to St. Anthony School, but I look forward to teaching you all and seeing you get those 1st grade superpowers at the end of the year. I know we are going to have so much fun learning, exploring, and creating wonderful memories this year.

 

 

 

I was born and raised in a very small rural village in Edon, Ohio. Let’s see if we can find that on a map this year. My husband is in the military, so I have moved over 9 times in the last 16 years. I recently moved back to Washington State from Washington D.C. I have my bachelor’s degree in
Social Science with a minor in Education. I have 6 children and my daughters Gabriella (Kindergarten) and Emma (Pre-K) will be attending St. Anthony’s as well this year. I am currently working on my master’s in education from the University of the Cumberland’s. I have taught a
variety of subjects and ages, but love 1st grade. We are going to have a lot of fun doing STEM projects and will be not only learning with our minds but also being hands-on as well. I am very excited to welcome you all to the 1st grade family.
