In music class, students will learn about music theory, music history, and music performance techniques. Students will perform in concerts throughout the year where they will sing diverse repertoire with clear, consistent, and healthy vocal production. Students will learn to use music as a form of self expression, and this will contribute to their abilities as young musicians.

 

About Mrs. Dwyer:
Welcome to music class! I am thrilled to be at St. Anthony's this year to teach elementary and middle school music. I am from Orange County, CA and I am new to the Seattle area, but I really love all the Pacific Northwest has to offer. I have been a music teacher for several years and I have taught in several different states including Wyoming, Arizona, and California. In addition to my teaching career, I am a trained opera singer. I earned my Bachelor of Music degree from Chapman University in Orange, CA, and my Master of Music degree from The New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, MA. I am thrilled to share my love of music with the students at St. Anthony.
