At St. Anthony School, technology is used to facilitate student learning and understanding. Students use current technologies to create, access, integrate, and communicate information. Students are guided toward understanding and respecting proper ethics, safety and privacy when using technology within and beyond the school setting.
During the first week of each school year, a copy of our Acceptable Use Policy goes home with each student. All parents must sign the policy for each child attending St. Anthony School. While students in grades K-8 are not required to sign the policy, students in grades 5-8 are. The policy is explained to grade 5-8 students at their first computer lab session. The policy includes important information regarding publications including web publishing. This portion of the policy is to be completed and signed by the parent only.

Thumb Drives - Thumb drives are required for 7th and 8th grade students and recommended for 6th graders. The purpose is to teach students the importance of maintaining back up copies of their school files (Saving to the Server and thumb drives) and to be able to transport school work back and forth from home and school. Please remember, your thumb drive must not contain non-school related files. An example of inappropriate files on your school thumb drive would be music or video files that are not intended to be used on a school project.
