Opening of School

6:30 AM BASS Opens

8:10 AM Safety Patrol/Adult Supervision on duty in the parking lot

8:25 AM First Bell – School Doors Opened for Students

8:30 AM Second Bell-Warning Bell

8:35 AM Tardy Bell – Classes Begin

(Students arriving after the tardy bell will need to report to the office to obtain a tardy slip before going to their regular classroom.)

Morning Recess

9:45-10:00 AM Recess – M/W – Grades 3 and 4; T/Th 1 & 3; F – 2 & 3

10:00-10:15 AM Recess – M/W – Grades 2 and 5; T/Th – K & 4; F – 4 & 5

10:15-10:30 AM Recess – M/W/F – Grades K and 1; T/Th – 2 & 5

Lunch and Lunch Recess

1st Lunch Period:

11:25-11:45 AM 3rd and 4th Grade Lunch

11:45-12:05 Noon 3rd and 4th Grade Lunch Recess

2nd Lunch Period:*

11:50-12:05 Noon 7th and 8th Grade Lunch

12:05-12:30 PM 7th and 8th Grade Lunch Recess

3rd Lunch Period:

12:10-12:30 PM Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Grade Lunch

12:30-12:50 PM Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Grade Lunch Recess

4th Lunch Period:*

12:35-12:50 PM 5th and 6th Grade Lunch

12:50-1:15 PM 5th and 6th Grade Lunch Recess

* (On Tuesdays & Thursdays students in band have lunch and recess at times that accommodate band.)

Afternoon Recess (Tuesday through Thursday)

1:45-2:00 PM Kindergarten and 1st Grade PM Recess (also Friday)

2:00-2:15 PM 2nd and 3rd Grade PM Recess (Gym instead: W-2nd grades; Th-3rd grades)

2:15-2:30 PM 4th and 5th Grade PM Recess (Tuesdays, Grade 4, optional 1:30)

Because of Monday’s 2 PM dismissal, afternoon recess is not taken.

Friday afternoon recess will occur some weeks and not others, dependent on a 2:00 – 3:00 all-school activity period which may sometimes replace recess for Grades 2-5.

Dismissal & Closing

2:00 PM Early Dismissal for Faculty Meeting (Mondays Only)

3:00 PM Regular Dismissal (Tuesday through Friday)

3:15 PM School Pickup Ended/All remaining students to BASS

6:00 PM BASS Closes
